Nappies need changing. Feeds take longer than expected. Babies fall asleep in the car just as you arrive. And sometimes getting through the door on time feels like an achievement in itself.

As a family chiropractor, I've worked with babies and young children for many years and understand the realities of parenthood. That's why I created Baby Thursdays. A more flexible and affordable way for families to access ongoing chiropractic care for their baby.

Why Baby Thursdays?

  • I know that many families are managing on maternity pay or reduced income during the first year of their baby's life.

    Baby Thursdays offer a reduced rate for follow-up chiropractic appointments, helping families access ongoing care at a lower cost than standard appointments.

  • Babies don't work to a timetable.

    Rather than booking individual appointment times, Baby Thursday patients attend during a dedicated one-hour baby clinic session.

    This means:

    • Less pressure if you're running late

    • Time for feeding if needed

    • Time for nappy changes

    • A calmer, more relaxed environment

    • No stress if your baby needs a cuddle, feed or settle midway through treatment

  • Providing chiropractic care for babies requires extensive additional training beyond a chiropractic degree.

    Over the years, I have undertaken further postgraduate education focused on pregnancy, babies and children, alongside many years of hands-on clinical experience caring for infants and supporting families.

    Every baby receives an individual assessment, and any recommendations are tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.

How Does Baby Thursday Work?

  • Your baby's initial consultation can be booked on any day that the clinic is open.

    This appointment includes:

    • A detailed case history

    • Discussion of your concerns and goals

    • Examination and assessment

    • Recommendations for care where appropriate

    • Your baby’s first treatment if appropriate

    If ongoing care is recommended and you would like to take advantage of the Baby Thursday offer, you can then join the Baby Thursday programme.

  • Follow-up appointments are available during our dedicated Thursday morning Baby Thursday sessions (subject to availability).

    To access the discounted rate:

    • Follow-up appointments are booked as a block of 6 sessions

    • Sessions are prepaid in advance

    • Appointments are reserved within the Baby Thursday clinic times

    Many babies who receive a course of chiropractic care attend around six sessions, although every child is different and some may require fewer or more visits depending on their individual needs and goals.

Baby Thursday Programme

  • £35 per visit

  • 6 prepaid visits = £210

You'll be allocated a place within a dedicated one-hour Baby Thursday clinic session alongside a small number of other families.

  • Yes. However, your baby's initial consultation can be booked on any clinic day that suits you.

  • No. Baby Thursdays are entirely optional. You can continue with standard follow-up appointments if you prefer.

  • That's exactly one of the reasons Baby Thursdays were created. We understand that babies don't always stick to a schedule, and the flexible clinic format helps remove some of the stress associated with fixed appointment times.

  • No problem. Baby Thursdays are designed with real family life in mind, and there is plenty of opportunity to stop for feeds, cuddles or nappy changes as needed.

  • Every baby is different. During the initial consultation, we will discuss your baby's history, your concerns and whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your child.
